Terms & Conditions
Welcome to the Driving Lessons Kent Customer Network
The following terms govern your use of our platform, lead routing systems, and territory placement agreements.
1. Introduction and Who We Are
Welcome to Driving Lessons Kent (drivinglessonskent.co.uk). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services as a learner driver or user seeking driving tuition (“Customer” or “You”).
By browsing our website, using our location hubs, or submitting an enquiry form, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.
2. Our Service – What We Do
Driving Lessons Kent operates purely as an introductory platform and digital marketing service.
- We connect Customers (learners) with independent, local Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) or Potential Driving Instructors (PDIs) registered on our platform (“Providers”).
- Our lead generation service is entirely free of charge for Customers. We do not charge you a fee to search for a location or to submit an enquiry form.
3. The Relationship Between Parties (The Legal Distinction)
It is critical to understand how bookings and contracts operate on this platform:
- No Employment or Agency: Registered Providers are entirely independent business entities. They are not employees, subcontractors, partners, or agents of Driving Lessons Kent.
- The Contract of Tuition: When you submit an enquiry and are successfully matched with a local instructor, any subsequent agreement, booking, lesson package, scheduling, or financial transaction is made directly between you and the Provider.
- No Liability for Payments: Driving Lessons Kent does not collect lesson fees from Customers. We are not responsible or liable for managing refunds, block-booking deposits, or disputes regarding lesson pricing or cancellations. All such matters must be resolved directly with your assigned Provider according to their independent business policies.
4. Submission of Enquiries and Data Accuracy
When using our Customer Lead Generation forms, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete personal details (including your correct pickup postcode and contact information).
- Ensure you hold a valid UK Provisional Driving Licence (or an international equivalent legally recognised to drive in the UK) before booking or taking your first practical lesson with a Provider.
- We reserve the right to filter, drop, or reject any form submission that our automated anti-spam systems flag as fraudulent, malicious, or incomplete to protect the integrity of our Provider network.
5. Customer Review Policy and Platform Integrity
To maintain transparency and assist other learners across Kent, you may be invited to leave a review for your Provider via a secure, time-bound interaction link.
- Link Restrictions: To prevent system manipulation, review links are generated with unique cryptographic tokens and are strictly valid for three (3) days from issuance. Expired links cannot be reused.
- Review Guidelines: You agree that any review or feedback you submit will be honest, factually accurate, and reflective of your personal experience.
- Prohibitions: You must not submit reviews that contain offensive language, defamatory statements, personal contact information, or malicious content. We reserve the absolute right to moderate, hide, or remove any review that violates these standards or conflicts with UK consumer transparency guidelines (including the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024).
6. Limitation of Liability
While we vet Providers upon registration to ensure they hold valid professional credentials (such as an ADI/PDI status), Driving Lessons Kent does not control, supervise, or manage the daily delivery of practical driving tuition.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Driving Lessons Kent shall not be liable for:
- Any loss, damage, injury, or dispute arising out of or in connection with your practical driving lessons or interactions with a Provider.
- Any cancellations, scheduling conflicts, or failure of a Provider to show up to a scheduled appointment.
- Any financial losses resulting from block-booking disputes or prepayments made directly to a Provider.
7. Website Abuse and Intellectual Property
- You must not use this website or its forms to transmit spam, phishing attempts, or malicious code.
- All content, branding, layout templates, text, and imagery on drivinglessonskent.co.uk are the intellectual property of Driving Lessons Kent and may not be copied, reproduced, or scraped without our express written permission.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
